Math Newsletters for Students

Here is a great model for a student math newsletter.  You might tweak this in various ways.  Maybe, you send this home with your advanced learners.  Remember that the National Math Report states that they are the ones that are slipping through the cracks.  You might also do this newsletter with various scaffolded activities so that a variety of learners have access.  You might start a math club and this would be the letter that goes out to the math club members.  There are many possibilities.

Happy Mathing,

Dr. Nicki
