Number of the Day: A Routine You Can Count On!

Sesame Street has done a few seasons where they had The Number of the Day daily segments.  Check out the collection here! Sing them with your class.  Set them up in a listening center!  Have fun and learn lots!

Hi Dr. Nicki,
It is a great practice to integrate a Number of the Day into the math block everyday. I wanted to pass along a website which included some interesting posters for the 8 mathematical practices. See if you want to share on your blog.

They are definitely for the intermediate grades, but a good visual to place strategically in the classroom
