Learning Trajectories! Great ways to think about what students know…

Posted on August 3, 2015. Filed under: Uncategorized |

The Math Running Record Online Conference was a success.  I thank all who attended. During the discussion, one of the participants brought up the Learning Trajectories Research.  It is really fascinating and gives us some  ways to think about and name what our students are doing.  Look at this Quick Overview for some ideas!

The research shows the more we understand about what our students do and do not know, the more we can name it and have conceptual maps about it, the better we all get.  Teachers who understand learners are better able to teach.

Happy Mathing,

Dr. Nicki
